Rockwell Collins needs engineers, company looking to fill 338 open positions

February 6, 2008

While other industries are shrinking and major employers are downsizing, Rockwell Collins is growing and looking to add more staff.  Rockwell Collins is a leader in the aviation electronics industries with 2007 sales of $4.42B and approximately 20,000 employees worldwide.  First quarter 2008 earnings were up 12% over prior year.

”We’re off to another great start to a new fiscal year as our first quarter financial results mark the fifth consecutive year in which we generated double-digit growth in first quarter sales, total segment operating earnings and earnings per share,” said Rockwell Collins Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Clay Jones. “The recent introduction of new aircraft models and several years of strong orders have amounted to significant backlogs for the production of new aircraft.”

As of 2/06/08, the company has numerous positions available.  Check them out at rockwellcollins.com.
